Shereen Abbas

Shereen hold a bachelor’s degree, Faculty of Economics, Business Administration from Damascus University 2002, & Faculty of Literature English Department from Damascus University 2008.
A highly skilled Office manager/Administration Manager with an extensive background of working with international business establishments. In depth knowledge of UN programs, business administration, business practices, corporate events. Excellent coordination, multitasking and organizing skills.
Her extensive knowledge and skills gained in the career span of 15 years; in an organization that sustains creative thinking and growth such as UNRWA, UNHCR, SDC; Swiss Agency for Development & Cooperation.

Communication & Advocacy Officer

Reem Abbas

Palestinian holding BA in English Literature from Damascus university. Skilled advocacy officer who worked with UNHCR-Syria for 8 years in the protection section.
She acquired a great experience from her work with NGOs and has gained and developed great analytical and communication skills. She was persistent and never stopped from pursuing her dream of creating a better environment for refugees after she came to the Netherland.
She works with different NGOs in Netherland to create a better future for refugees and develop a better integration and work policies.

Mohammad Shibli

Mohammad Shibli is a Palestinian Dutch professional holding a BA in Media and Mass Communication from Damascus University. With over 20 years of professional experience, including a distinguished career as a regional manager in the banking sector in the Middle East, he has developed exceptional expertise in leadership, management, communication, and influence-building. 

As a certified trainer, Mohammad has played a pivotal role in mentoring professionals and empowering individuals through customized training programs. Since relocating to the Netherlands, he has channeled his passion for humanitarian work into collaborations with civil society organizations. In these roles, he serves as a lecturer and trainer for refugees and newcomers, supporting their integration and personal development. 

Specializing in empowering individuals and communities, Mohammad is committed to fostering meaningful change and promoting sustainability. 

Social Counselor

Yafa Kasem

Yafa is a humanitarian aid worker, Palestinian Refugee based in the Netherlands.
She volunteers as advocacy officer at New Women Connectors Organization in the Netherlands.
She has 10 years’ work experience with The United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), in Damascus/ Syria “Protection Unit”.
She is graduated from Damascus University, Bachelor of Arts, English Language and Literature Department.

Operation Coordinator

Nader Alawa

Nader have More Than 15 years’ experience with most of the international and national NGOs & with all kind of NGO Jobs, as In Accounting, Education, Training , protection community services and psychological support , food distribution , Health Programs , IT Finance ,cash transfer and much more & with Sarc , DRC ,UNHCR , UNRWA ,UNDP and UNICEF,BF , IFRC , Caritas , JCI & Concern.
Nader was working with concern wide in Lebanon as protection manager for the last 2 years before moving to Nederland & preparing a master’s degree in nonviolence communication and conflict resolution.
